Our Members

Education professionals working in South Dakota's public schools and universities!
The South Dakota Education Association works with education professionals from across the spectrum. Our members work in public schools and South Dakota's public universities to provide every student with the education they deserve. We are teachers, education support professionals, aspiring educators, university faculty, and retired educators working together to serve the needs of every student who enters our classrooms.
Our members bring their experiences working at every level of education to shape our organization and impact. Here’s who we are and how we do it.

K-12 Educators

There's no doubt that public education is a tough profession these days. Despite our talented South Dakota educators, none of us can make it alone without the help of a strong advocacy group.

Student Educators

The SDEA Aspiring Educators will address the needs of today's diverse student population in order to facilitate student achievement by preparing pre-professional educators with ideals of professional ethics and standards.
