The Initial Results of the Health and Safety Survey Are In — Health and Safety Committee Continues the Work
Last year, the SDEA convened a Health and Safety committee because of a New Business Item (NBI) at the 2023 SDEA Representative Assembly. The committee was charged with identifying the issues educators are dealing with in their buildings, both in terms of student behaviors and building safety issues. The committee developed a survey, launched it in January 2024, and closed it this past July. The following are the results of that survey.
